CALL FOR PAPERS

Thirty-sixth Annual Meeting
October 17th and 18th, 2013

The Northeastern Association of Business, Economics and Technology invites papers for presentation at its Annual Meeting to be held on October 17th and 18th at the Days Inn, State College, PA.  The meeting provides an opportunity to present new research and discuss a variety of current issues.  This is your chance to get involved with a dynamic, regional academic organization.  To be considered for the program, please submit one of the following:

1.  A completed paper using the guidelines found in our Proceedings Publication Requirements

2.  An abstract (between 100 and 500 words)

3.  A proposal for a workshop (e.g.,  innovative teaching techniques)

4.  A proposal for a special session (e.g., economics of healthcare)

5.  A proposal for a panel discussion or symposium (e.g.,  business school accreditation)

Topics in the disciplines of business, economics and information technology disciplines qualify for the conference.

NABET is a polically non-partisan organization. Papers that primarily focus on political, religious, gender or other social/political topics will be considered not appropriate for the NABET Conference.  Papers presented at the meeting will be eligible for publication in the Conference Proceedings.  Publication in The Journal of the Northeastern Association of Business, Economics and Technology is also possible after peer review.

Conference Submission Deadline: September 30, 2013

**Conference Fee:  $200 for registrations completed by September 15, 2013; $250 for registrations completed after September 15, 2013.  Registration for the Conference and payment of the conference fee are to be completed on this website; follow the link for Faculty Registration.   The conference fee is non-refundable and non-proratable.  The conference fee includes all meals and the NABET social.
