STUDENT PRESENTATIONS AND SUBMISSON PROCESS

Starting with the NABET Conference in October, 2013 students will be able to present scholarly work.  However, the student submissions will only be considered when submitters have adhered to the following:

a.    Student submissions will be considered from only senior level undergraduate,  and graduate students in the disciplines of Economics, Business/Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing.

b.    Each submission will be reviewed by members of the NABET Board.  Only those papers that are accepted by the Board will be invited to present at the conference.

c.    Each student submission must have a faculty sponsor at the student’s college/university; and that faculty sponsor must attend the conference with the student author and the faculty must be present during the student presentation.

d.    Students may co-author with other students, and/or one faculty member.

e.    Only the student author(s) may present the paper.

f.    Presenters and sponsors must register for the conference.  Student presenters will be required to pay a special conference fee of $99 (per student attendee).  The Faculty Sponsor will also be required to pay the $99 fee, unless the sponsor is presenting a faculty paper at a normal session of the conference.  If the sponsor is a presenter at a regular session, he/she must pay the normal conference fee as noted at the Faculty Registration link.

g.    All student presentations will be limited to 20 minutes.

h.    All student presentations will occur on Friday October 18th, beginning at 1:30pm.

i.    Complete student papers that have complied with Proceedings submission requirements will be published in the NABET Conference Proceedings.
